Through their expertise and their know-how, the company has developed engine nacelle systems used on engines that power many jetliners. This includes CFM International's LEAP-1A on the Airbus A320neo; the LEAP-1C engine for COMAC's C919, and Rolls-Royce's Trent 7000 on the Airbus A330neo. Safran Nacelles is the only nacelle systems integrator for both engine types offered on the Airbus A380 (Rolls-Royce's Trent 900, and the Engine Alliance GP7200). Safran Nacelles also produces titanium nozzles for the GE Aviation GE9X powerplants on Boeing's 777X jetliner.
In the business aviation sector, Safran Nacelles provides nacelle system hardware for numerous aircraft types, including the complete nacelle for Rolls-Royce Pearl 700 turbofan engines that power Gulfstream Aviation's G700 business jet; and the GE PassportTM engine's full nacelle (in the Nexcelle joint venture with Middle River Aircraft Systems) on Bombardier's Global 7500.
